As the visionary behind The Exchange, she leads with purpose, grit, and a deep love for what she does. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her on horseback or tending to her garden—enjoying the peace both bring. 

Spa Coordinator

Originally from California, Colette brings years of experience in cosmetology and salon management to the team. She's been part of The Exchange family on and off for over 8 years and has a natural eye for detail and guest care. Outside the spa, you’ll find her restoring vintage furniture or hunting for unique thrifted treasures.

PR & Marketing  Manager

 Born and raised in California, Mikaela brings nearly 5 years of creativity, strategy, and style to The Exchange. With a background in cosmetology and a passion for branding, she blends beauty and business to keep our marketing fresh and authentic. Outside of work, she’s usually thrifting vintage finds or unwinding with music—whether it’s playing instruments or singing just for fun. 

Stylist

With over 30 years of experience in the hair industry, Jay brings a deep passion for precision cutting and client care. Originally from Minnesota, he spent several years in North Carolina before making it his permanent home—trading snowy winters for the beauty of the beach and mountains. Jay has trained with top names in the industry, including Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and Aveda, continually honing his craft.

Outside the barbershop, he enjoys cruising the open road and spending time with his loyal four-legged sidekick, Junior.
